Manure spreader broke down under weight of manure April 20, 2001

Shoveling manure out of broken down spreader, now back to the repair shop.  The spreader broke down on April 13th and we had to wait until April 18th for repair parts.  Meantime we are thrown at least another day behind. If we had used artificial fertilizer,  we would have been finished and had vegetable crops planted by April 14th. We used artificial fertilizer on our cotton, therefore most of it has already been planted. Welcome to the real world of "organic" farming.
